FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
(applies to classes for Teenage Chefs as well)
DOES MY CHILD ALREADY NEED TO KNOW HOW TO COOK TO COME FOR THEIR FIRST CLASS?
No. Also, your child does not need to bring anything special for the class except for a sense of humor and a desire to learn! The rest we take care of during the class; aprons and all the equipment needed for the class are provided for already.
DO YOU HAVE TO BUY A VOUCHER PACKAGE RIGHT AWAY?
No, you don’t have to. The first class is always available for 30/100zl. After the first class, the student and their parents have to make the decision whether they would like to continue taking classes at Little Chef. The next classes are only available through a voucher.
DOES NOT COMING FOR A CLASS INVALIDATE A VOUCHER?
No, it does not. But please be informed that you must let us know about an upcoming absence in advance. For instance, an absence for a Sunday class should be notified to us by the previous Tuesday. If we do not receive this notice, we mark the voucher as used regardless of the student’s attendance.
DO YOU HAVE TO COME FOR EVERY CLASS WITH A VOUCHER?
No. You can use your vouchers at your own pace. Whether that means every week, every two weeks, or once a month. We do, however, ask that you register for classes beforehand and attend the classes you reserve a spot for.
HOW LONG ARE VOUCHER PACKAGES VALID FOR?
Vouchers are valid until the end of the school year they were bought in.
CAN YOU COME TO A CLASS AT THE LAST MOMENT WITHOUT HAVING SIGNED UP?
Yes… but there is always the chance that the class is full already. Please phone us to check if a last minute spot is available.
DO THE CLASSES AT 11:00, 14:00 AND 17:00 HAVE DIFFERENT THEMES?
No. Each class on the same day will have the same theme and dishes prepared.
